Upgrade Firefox latest edition to Ubuntu

Hi friends, In this post I am going to explain about how to upgrade Firefox latest edition to Ubuntu. In earlier posts we learned how to install PHP , SVN, WGET ,Xdebug , PHPUnit

Upgrade Firefox latest edition to Ubuntu by Anil Kumar Panigrahi

Step 1:

Download the Firefox latest version from website.

Step 2:

cd ~/Downloads/

Step 3:

tar xjf firefox-33.1.tar.bz2

Step 4:

sudo mv firefox /opt/firefox33

Step 5:

sudo ln -s /opt/firefox33/firefox /usr/bin/firefox30

Step 6:

sudo mv /usr/bin/firefox /usr/bin/firefox-old

Step 7:

sudo ln -s /opt/firefox33/firefox /usr/bin/firefox

Once done with above steps then restart your Firefox or system then new version of Firefox will be display.
